PMP Courses:
Project Management Courses
PMP courses are a necessary part of the certification process for aspring project management professionals. 35 contact hours of formal education is required before you can take the exam. The only types of providers that are permitted are: Registered Education Providers, PMI Component organizations, employer sponsored programs, training companies or consultants, distance-learning companies, and university/college academic and continuing education programs.
Other than those PMP courses, other learning methods like self directed learning such as reading books, watching videos, sessions with coaches, or PMI chapter meetings do not count.
PMP courses to prepare for the exam are also available and prices vary depending on the type of project management course that you choose. You can choose between an online PMP course or offline. Online prices tend to be cheaper, but you will miss out on the in person training that is available offline. However, you'll receive a lot of valuable material to prep you for the exam.
PMP courses are a good idea for exam preparation and formal project management education is mandatory to take the exam and obtain the credential.
