PMP Exam:
Project Management Professional Exam
The PMP exam (or the Project Management Professional exam) consists of 200 multiple-choice questions with 25 of them being pretest questions. Pretest questions are only there to test the validity of future examination questions and do not count towards your score.
The PMP exams are normally administered through computer based testing, but paper based testing is also available in certain limited circumstances.
You are alloted four hours to complete the PMP exam. There is a tutorial before the examination and a survey after. The tutorial and survey are both optional and can take up to 15 minutes to complete, but they are not included as part of the four hours.

Pre-Requisites
Applicants needs to verify a highschool diploma or an associates degree combined with sixty months (7,500 hours) of project management experience, or simply a 4-year college degree with 36 months (4,500 hours) of project management practical experience. In the two cases applicants should additionally possess 35 contact hours of project management education and learning. To maintain the PMP qualification, 60 professional development units (PDUs) must be earned over a three-year cycle, from activities such as researching, authoring articles, speaking on project management-related topics, or being engaged full time in project management
